A bird on the wing has the freedom to return to the falconer’s glover fly away, never to be seen again. There is no physical tether connecting the two, only a relationship built on mutual trust. It is a complete and utter act of faith, and a fitting metaphor for life.

The On the Wing earrings are hand sculpted and cast in either solid sterling silver or solid bronze. All ear hooks are handmade in sterling silver. These birds of prey have a wingspan of 1 3/4" and are handcarved by the artist.
